REPORT
FROM A VISIT TO A CHURCH ON THE ROCK
16 Feb 2002
The location of this church is withheld due to the delicate nature of the call to repentance. A while back I had
the opportunity to meet with the pastor and assistant pastor of a Church on the Rock. For the sake of privacy we will
use the names Pastor Jim and Pastor Tim.
Prior to the meeting, someone who had previously attended the church, had related a dream involving a blonde haired
woman who was to cause trouble for one of the pastors and also this word was given at the same time. (You may read it
and judge it for yourself)
Surely surely surely the day has come when the fear of the Lord will be manifest to some. For my people on their
faces I will show forth all my graces, and as the enemy comes near they will cut him down. On you who will not listen
my Glory will not glisten, and as the separation grows intense, your mind will feel like fire as the temperature turns higherRepent
and come back home. The time is short.
We attended services the following Sunday because we believed God wanted us to be there. During Praise and Worship
someone stood up and began speaking out words of how great the church and the people were, but the music minister rebuked
him and said thats not what God is saying this morning. Then he said there is someone else who has something to say.
My wife and I decided to go forward. We went forward and stood in front of the pastor and asked permission to
speak. The pastor handed the microphone to us. We spoke about being in His presence on Holy Ground. We spoke
about the sin in their camp, the falseness, and their playing church. The adultery would be revealed after the services.
It was also stated, Dont be deceived. God will not be mocked. What is hidden will be exposed.
The entire congregation fell to their knees and some began to confess their sins. Four people ran screaming from
the church. The conviction to repent was very strong in the room that morning. After services, we were approached
by numerous people letting us know they had felt God speaking to them about these very things for weeks, but they had been
afraid to speak out. It should also be mentioned that the pastor was the leader of the local citywide evangelical ministers
association.
The results were varied. Some people repented. The pastor did not. He left his wife for a blonde
haired woman, and the church fell apart as well as the evangelical association.
What can we say about all of this?? Opportunities may arise for you to go into places to bring out the truth.
Just because you are speaking out against a false gospel doesnt mean you wont be given the opportunity to go in and
share. Its a matter of being obedient to Gods leading.
Do indeed study to show yourselves approved. Do indeed know the true from the false. Then be willing to
share.
Note: We were not members of this church, nor did we believe in the heresy that they were proclaiming. We simply
obeyed Gods prompting.

Matt.
24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them; Take heed that no one deceives you.
The Greatest Deception Ever 1 Mar 2002
If you were looking for God to do something great in the end times, what would be the greatest deception that Satan
could pull on you? Is there anything that could look good and yet be totally false? I want you to consider this:
A great end time harvest of souls; a marvelous church filled with signs and wonders; and an escape pod that says, this
is my ticket out of all tribulation.
Is it possible that we are indeed having a revival but that revival is the greatest heresy and falling away ever experienced
since the time of Christ? In other words a revival of evil.
In Matt. 24 Jesus spoke several times about not being deceived. The Greek word used specifically refers to religious
deception. In Matt. 24:23-26 Jesus stated,
Then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For false
Christs will arise, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they would deceive
the very elect. Behold I have told you before. Therefore if they shall say to you, Behold, he is in the desert;
go not forth: Behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not."
Benny Hinn recently stated that Jesus would appear physically at his crusades. (link).Thousands
upon thousands have flocked to this man's meetings calling themselves Christians and waiting for Christ to physically appear.
Yet this is in direct opposition to Christs very words.
A point of view from the people at Firebase Rainer website states things plainly. They talk about birthing,
(link)
a manchild and the creation of a growing church within a church.( link)
Could this be a picture of the false messiah, with his false bride with their false signs and wonders?
Lets stop at this point and look at what the Bible says about end times. 2Tim. 3:2 says, But know this, that
in the last days perilous times will come. The word last literally means the last of the last. Perilous times
can be translated savage or in times of stress. So here we have some end time scriptures that says times will be savage.
Keep in mind this was written to the church. Read through the rest of the chapter and ask yourself about the marvelous
church. There are warnings of just the opposite here. 2 Tim. 3:12 states, all who desire to live godly in Christ
Jesus will suffer persecution. Verse 13 states, evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse deceiving and
being deceived. This does not sound like the kind of church being promoted by the Jannes and Jambres teachers of
today. Their teaching is untruthful, corrupt and not the gospel Paul preached.
II Thes. 2:3 says, Let no one deceive you by any means. For that day will not come unless the falling away
comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition. Does this sound like a great end time harvest
to you? If it is a harvest, whose is it a harvest for?? The chapter goes on to discuss lying signs and wonders
and strong delusion. Can we afford to be wrong in our position in Christ? I would say not. I would like
to put in here, the word rapture does not occur in the Bible, and the early church did not teach of a gathering to Christ
before tribulation. The early church did not teach of a spot free, wrinkle free church without suffering in a refiners
pot and the early church did not teach coming alive in Christ without repentance.
Read your Bible..the truth is out there!
Remember a false revival leads to a false messiah. Can you afford to be wrong??

2:1
But there were also
false prophets in Israel,
just as there will be false
teachers among you. They will
cleverly teach their
destructive heresies
about God and even turn
against their Master who bought
them. Theirs will
be a swift and terrible
end.
A
Visit to Faith Christian Fellowship 2 Mar 2002
(The
Buddy Harrison Story)
My wife and I had the opportunity to visit several Faith Christian Fellowships in the Southwestern United States. We
were invited initially to come and see God moving.
The first church we went to had 2 popular pastors both claiming to be anointed of God. I believe Ill jump in at
about the point where my young son, who was four at the time, went forward during a call to come and get healed. I did
not prompt my son to go forward, he just went forward on his own accord. My son was about halfway up the aisle (by the
way I have always encouraged my children to be led of the Lord), when the pastors wife grabbed him and brought him back saying,
Honey you mustnt do that because you might mess up the anointing. This was to leave a permanent scar upon my son. The
question is whose anointing is it anyway? Who was to say God wasnt calling the boy. Whos to say God didnt want
to do something for the boy. The confusion to my son was why would God place a desire in him to pray for someone
up front if this would mess up the anointing.
You are probably asking yourself at this point Why did you let your son go forward and do you believe in all the teachings
of this heresy factory?
First, my son had prayed for sick people before and Gods mercy had shined upon the sick.
Second, no I dont believe in the heretical teachings of this organization. However, I did believe that God wanted
me there to see something.
As time went on we saw a great many people that were hurt, stripped of their savings, and as far as I could tell not
helped in any way. I noticed at one point the senior pastor seemed to be leading the Holy Spirit around on a leash.
When I suggested he repent of this before he ended up hanging by the same leash, he told me I dont receive that, brother.
He did indeed end up losing his church by death on the pulpit.
The other pastor was thrown out of this church just before my conversation with the senior pastor. By thrown out
I mean he was encouraged to start a church elsewhere. We spent some time with this other pastor in his new church and
noticed the same type of occurrences as in the first church. His wife was always browbeating people who dared to say
anything about the false doctrine. The pastor invited us to meet Buddy Harrison (head of Harrison House Publishing
and founder of FCFs) when he came to town.
We were described as highly gifted people. I assume he said this because we had prayed for a number of people
(formerly prayed for by FCF) and Gods mercy had prevailed in about 15 people. I believe he told Harrison and others
that we had a gift he had never seen before in any national minister but he couldnt believe it because of our doctrine.
How very sad it is when ministers in error wont repent. These men did not repent and Gods word is true that judgment
begins in the House of the Lord. 1 Peter 4:17
So what was the end here? As far as the leadership, two died, one jailed for abusing children, adultery, and one with
cancer. Both churches ended. Peoples lives were destroyed.
I am in no way saying that I know Gods plans and purpose for any of the people involved, and Im not saying that anything
that happened to them was a result of the false doctrine. Im just reporting what happened.

The Hundred-Dollar Prayer Line
A visit to Church of God in Christ
I had the opportunity to spend time in several different intermountain Church of God in
Christ churches. It all started off one afternoon in a pizza parlor. I thought we had gone there just for pizza,
but God had other ideas. A woman stood out in the crowd and to this day I dont know why unless God was using a highlighter.
I asked my wife to go over to the woman and ask her where she went to church. Ill have my wife pick the conversation
up from here.
Upon approaching the woman, I said, excuse me, could you tell me what church you go to? As
she just stared at me, I continued, Do you go to church? Slightly startled, she replied yes she did and gave me the
name of the church. I thanked her, explaining we were new in the area and thought we might ask her about a church. The
woman would turn out to be a link to a church and a specific prayer service that God wanted us to go to.
The next thing to point us in the same direction was a meeting with a specific pastor in the meat
department of a local grocery store. All this may sound unrelated, but it led us to the place where God wanted us to
be for a season.
Ill give you some brief background on C.O.G.I.C. in case you dont know. It began at the Azusa
Street revival and I would call it Pentecostal although at the time they preferred the term holiness. You may read the doctrinal
statement from the home office in Memphis, Tenn. And you will note some changes especially in the area of the rapture. According
to the apologists of the 80s, the doctrine was sound. Ill let you read the change for yourselves as I do not believe
there is anywhere that has not been touched by Trinity Broadcast Network, the Word of Faith, and the like.
We had numerous opportunities to speak and to minister and on more than one occasion the subject
of what is creeping into the Church was discussed. After a period of time, the people in the church began to tell us
of some abuses, like having to pay fees they couldnt afford and similar abuses during prayer. I will address two such
instances.
A revival had been held and prayer was being offered for the sick. However it was different
than you might expect. The invitation was given that whoever had a $100.00 to donate could come forward and be healed. If
you had $50.00 you could come forward and be touched. Twenty-five dollars or less and you would receive a God Bless
you. This eventually did get stopped but not until some people had been hurt.
Another instance was on a day called Pastors Sunday. The offering taken that day was specifically
for Pastors expenses. A man who was a mason was standing up, flaunting his $100.00 bill and daring people to match it
in a very antagonistic way. My husband rebuked him with the scriptures in II Cor. 9:7. The pastor rebuked my husband
for daring to interfere with his money. After all the time we had spent discussing these very issues with the pastor
it seemed as if our talking had fallen on deaf ears. I knew there was no point in continuing in that church. Money
had overruled sound doctrine.
The last time I heard, the Church was no longer there. We can understand how expenses have
to be paid but not at the expense of people and sound doctrine. If you have had similar experiences, please contact
us. We would like to hear how you handled it!
